Afternoon Tea: Pendray Inn and Tea House
If you have followed me for a while on Instagram you will know I am a big fan of afternoon tea.
When Huntingdon Manor Hotel invited us for afternoon tea at their Pendray Inn and Tea House I instantly said yes! I had been to their Tea House in the past but was excited to return.
Aside from great food, afternoon tea is a great time to dress up and enjoy a relaxing time with family and friends.
If you have dietary restrictions the Tea House has a vegan menu option with 48 hours notice. They can also accommodate other dietary restrictions with enough notice. For the regular tea menu they have the options of a traditional and deluxe tea menu. The deluxe tea has more seafood options. I tried the deluxe tea (as a seafood lover) and I can say it was delicious! Every savoury option was unique with great flavours. There are two scone options with one being a seasonal flavour. Right now they have a gingerbread scone which was delicious. I do not usually like gingerbread but the flavour was subtle, it was perfect! The dessert options were not too sweet and the perfect way to end the meal.
The Tea House serves TWG brand teas which are one of my favourite teas. These are the teas I drink at home. They have unique flavour options which perfectly pair with an afternoon tea.
Hope you found this post useful! I will do a separate outfit and makeup post because I think this look deserves its own!
Side Note: Depending on when youβre having tea here you may be interested in the COVID safety measures. Even with COVID happening we were able to enjoy a great afternoon. The hotel felt very safe with many policies in place. The reservation times are well spaced out and the diners are spaced out throughout the restaurant. I would return here anytime!
Tea was kindly gifted by the hotel, review is my own.
