Rainy Days
A winter staple when living on the west coast is a rain coat. Personally I prefer a rain coat with a hood since I am not a fan of carrying around an umbrella. Over the years I have accumulated various rain coats but I have to say finding a stylish coat with a hood is not easy!
When a friend sent me this jacket from Mira Mikati I fell in love. It is cute and quirky and I have nothing like it. While not rain proof the cotton material is thick and warm and it can easily be worn out in light rainy weather.

Veronica Beard Gabbi Hooded Jacket
This jacket is not rain proof to wear in heavy rain but given the thick material great for lighter rain. The hood is detachable making it more versatile.

This is probably my favourite rain coat I have found and even better it is on sale! This coat is water proof. This would be a great coat to throw on for work and I love the longer length.
