Product Empties December 2020
Hello guys! I thought I would start doing a monthly product empties post. I go through so many products that I thought this would be a good way to review some of the products I use and let you all know if I think they are worth repurchasing.
This month I just have 3 product empties to share.
Pixi Hydrating Milky Makeup Remover. This product was sent to me in PR and soon became a favourite.
Pro: I use the Tom Ford emotionproof mascara which is truly budge proof. This is the only makeup remover which does a great job removing my mascara without leaving any residue. Love the convenient pump top for dispensing.
Con: Coconut oils can clog pores in some therefore this may not be for everyone.
Key Ingredients: This product contains coconut & probiotics to nourish and willow bark extract to soothe.
Would I repurchase this? Yes
Dermalogica Biolumin-C Eye Serum. I have been using this eye serum since May. I used to use this serum twice a day but it is now my morning serum.
Pro: Love the lightweight texture of this serum which absorbs quickly into the skin. I have noticed that my under eye area is brighter and the fine lines and texture I have in my under eye area has improved. Fragrance free! I also love the packaging/dispenser.
Con: Just remember this is an eye SERUM not a cream. You can use a serum or an eye cream or layer the two products with the serum under the cream. I found this product enough on its own in the summer but in the winter I will be layering this with a cream.
Key Ingredients: Vitamin C Complex is a stable form of vitamin C which enhances the skin’s ability to fight free radical damage and blocks environmental pollutants. Chia Seed Oil helps to depuff the look of eye bags and combat the appearance of eye wrinkles while nurturing the delicate area. Tremella Mushroom Extract hydrates, firms, and restores the look of skin's glow.
Would I repurchase this? Yes, I am already on my second tube. I prefer this eye serum for the spring/summer so will hold off on repurchasing until then.
Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream
Pro: Love the rich and creamy consistency which still easily spreads and sinks into the skin. My skin feels well moisturized and hydrated. My skin looks dewy and glowy leaving a nice base for my makeup. I would agree with their claim that my skin looks more plumped.
Con: Not a fan of scented products. To be fair the scent in this products does not irritate my skin and has not been too noticeable for me but I know many find it too strong.
Key Ingredients: Bionymph Peptide Complex helps to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and improves skin smoothness. Hyaluronic Acid moisturizes so skin looks and feels softer, smoother, and plumped. Vitamins C and E visibly brighten and even skin tone while fighting dullness.
Would I repurchase this? Maybe. I do love how my skin feels with this cream and I would use it again. There are so many skin creams out there that I will be trying out something new before repurchasing this.
Hope you found this useful!
